Upcoming changes taken from Turbine's websites developer diaries:

Stat Changes:

The Burglar now receives all of their Melee Offence Rating from Agility (instead of Might). Further information can be found in the New Stat Updates Dev Diary.

To smooth out the early level experience of the Burglar, the following changes have been made:

Burglars now start the game with the Passive Skill “Dual Wield”.
Burglars now start the game with the Passive Skill “Medium Armour”.
Burglars can now start earning the “Leaf-walker” trait at Level 10.
Burglars now receive the skill “Double-edged Strike” at Level 6.
Counter Defence will be taking its place at Level 24.

We’ve also made some quality of life improvements:

As with previous updates, improved Trait tooltips to try and display as much information as possible.
Burglars can now enter “Mischief”, “Gambler”, or “Quiet Knife” in combat for a short period after being resurrected by a player.
Burglars can now use “Riddle” and “Confound” on any creature type (ie; any genus).
Skill Consolidation: The functionality of the skill “Seize Initiative” has been consolidated into the skill “Escape Clause”. The cooldown of “Escape Clause” has been reduced from 20m to 10m.

A suggestion from Zombie Columbus brought about a nice change to each of the Legendary Capstone Traits:

Practiced Bluff: “Improved Feint Attack” no longer requires “Double-edged Strike” to be used before hand.
Little Annoyances: “Quite a Snag” no longer requires “Double-edged Strike” to be used before hand.
Dealings Done: “Gambler’s Strike” no longer quires “Double-edged Strike” to be used before hand.

Trait Set Changes:

Mischief Maker: There is an additional 3-set bonus which reduces the Cooldown of Reveal Weakness by 5 seconds.
Mischief Maker: There is an additional 4-set bonus which reduces the Cooldown of all Tricks by 5 seconds.

Adjustments to Existing Skills:

Counter Defence: Reduced the Block, Parry, Evade Rating debuff to be more consistent with other skills, monster ratings, and to work properly with Finesse.

**Spoiler Alert** Improved Skills from Level 66 to Level 74:

Level 66: Improved Riddle – Riddle doesn’t break Sneak when used.
Level 68: Improved Counter Defence – Now also increases the Incoming Ranged Critical Chance and Incoming Tactical Critical Chance.
Level 70: Improved Sneak – Surprise Strike and Cunning Attack will be Critical Hits when used from Sneak.
Note: This is a Passive Skill, so don’t panic when you visit your trainer at Level 70.
Note: Feint and Improved Feint are not affected by this. (Testing revealed it to be too powerful.)
Level 72: Improved Subtle Stab – On a successful hit, the active cooldown of Mischievous Delight will be reduced by 5 seconds.
Level 74: Improved Startling Twist – Now affects up to three targets that are affected by Tricks.
